About us

The name is two words pushed together: teleférico — cable car — and coffee.

Across South America, we move between farms of every size. Some are serious operations — the best plots on the mountain, expert growers, rare and prized varieties. Others are remote enough that almost nothing has changed: cherries still planted and picked by hand, beans still carried out on a mule's back or strung across a cable line, because that's the only way anything leaves those hills. The conditions are basic. The flavor and quality that come out of them are not.

Teleféricoffee exists to bring these uncommon, high-quality microlots to you exactly as they left the mountain — original roasting profile intact, nothing smoothed over, nothing reshaped along the way. We're the cable car. We carry the coffee down; we don't change what it is.
