Most Panamanian Gesha leaves the country green and gets roasted somewhere else. This one didn't. The Janson family grew it, processed it, and roasted it on their own farm in Volcán.

Spearmint gum. Caught me off guard the first time — cool, sweet, closer to candy than to coffee. I've had a lot of Gesha and I hadn't tasted that before.

Jasmine is there too, the way you'd expect. Let it cool a few minutes and lemongrass shows up, the sweetness rounds out, the acidity stays bright without turning sharp. Light body, silky, clean.

Drink it cooler than you think you should. Most of this coffee happens below 60°C.
